Originally from California, I now live with my handsome husband in Montgomery, Alabama. I am passionate about Jesus, reading, writing, traveling to see God's beautiful creation, cosplaying with the love of my life, and tacos. I love rainy days, Lord of the Rings and Star Wars (equally!), time with family and friends, spoiling my precious dogs—Leia and Daisy, and diving into God's word.

After decades of “will she or won’t she”, I’ve finally realized my dreams won’t happen if I wait for someone else to do them. As some may know, Hollywood has stolen enough of my ideas and I refuse to let anyone else take the rest of my stories (looking at you, Hallmark).

With decades of writing professionally as a film critic and content creator under my belt, my experience with working with children led the progression for my first book to be a children’s book. I first chose self-publishing with my children’s book—partly to learn the ropes, partly to test if I could be business savvy (spoiler: it’s a struggle, but I’m still here). Along the way, I also independently published a Bible study guide for the small group my husband and I co-lead.

Now I’m in the query trenches with my debut novel, When the Mundane Becomes Miracles! I also write Christian science fiction and dystopian novels, and cozy Christmas romances—because let’s face it, I can’t stay pinned down to one genre for too long.
